Joseph Kusnan

Joseph Kusnan has spent more than 25 years working with family offices. He began his career at Lazard and Mutual Series as an equity research analyst before moving to MSD Capital, where he served as an equity portfolio manager.

He went on to spend a decade at Highbridge, focusing on event-driven portfolios, and later co-founded an investment partnership with offices in New York and London with backing from Highbridge. Joseph then became CIO of a single family office for the founder of Starwood Capital, overseeing a portfolio of alternative investments and direct deals.

Following that role, he served as Managing Member of DMP Private Management, one of the private investment entities associated with Terry and Kim Pegula.

Today, Joseph serves as Managing Member of Kusnan LLC where he advises and consults for several family offices, institutional investors, and investment managers.

He earned an A.B. in Economics from Harvard and resides in Menlo Park, CA, and divides his time between Menlo Park and New York.
